We have used it on one of our own horses who was a very bad cribber and would crib wherever we did not have Dyco-Sote (i.e. plastic water bucket, feed tub, etc.). It work so well on our own horse that we decided to add it to our product line! The collar works very well to stop horses from cribbing on surfaces that Dyco-Sote does not dry on. RECOMMENDED USES: Dyco-Sote can help preserve your investments by protecting your wood fences, barns, stalls, doors, gates, landscape ties, etc. or other wood structures from the chewing/cribbing problem of confined horses.

APPLICATION: Easy application by paint brush or roller. Use only in well ventilated areas. Dyco-Sote works most effectively on porous, non-painted wood, but may be used over some painted and/or stained surfaces, however, drying time is much longer and we suggest applying to a small test area first. Slower drying times will result in humid/cold temperatures (below 60 degrees F) and/or when applied to previously treated, painted and varnished surfaces. Remove animals from stalls during application. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. Apply Dyco-Sote generously to all wood surfaces within the reach of horse. Do not apply to surfaces where Dyco-Sote could come into contact with food or water. Repeat application to problem areas as necessary. Allow to dry thoroughly. Keep out of reach of children.

COVERAGE: Approximately 100-200 square feet per gallon (will vary depending on if surface is stained or unstained, surface smoothness, porosity of wood and how thickly applied).
